Every 1 in 3 orders is a horrible experience. Be careful. They bait u w short waits and then deliver way later.

Be aware. They secretly (and significantly) overcharge you on the items and/or tax you twice afterwards. Check your receipts carefully, and read the negative reviews. Those comments are very consistent about Postmate overcharging.

They botch 1 out of 3 orders consistently. They also got rid of phone support so there’s no way to contact them by phone or at the time of the botched order to fix the issue. I attempted contacting them by email 5 times in 2 weeks to attempt to get a refund. I ended up instead disputing the transaction with my bank to get the money back.

You can order anything you want and it will at least get it to your house in less than an hour

I dont usually write reviews, mostly because apps bug me to, but this is different. I want to write a review because I truly enjoy the app, and thats how it should be. Postmates is one of the best apps on my phone, if not the best. I can get anything delivered to me within an hour for a reasonable price. I cant wait until they bring it to my city, Tucson. I have used it Twice, once in Scottsdale and once in Chicago. The app is designed very well and is simple to use. I sincerely thank you Postmates for such a wonderful app and service. I literally cant wait until you expand! Update 4/21 : Still a great app, but there are no new delivery zones.

Four additional fees on top of your order. Three for 10% each and then a delivery fee. All set. Not worth it find another service. Cheaper to take Uber there and back and pick up yourself.

I have maybe 200+ deliveries on postmates- when it started, it was an amazing app with amazing customer service and great updates on your order. Currently, they do not give you proper updates, they may or may not cancel your order without notifying you (and they wont tell you why). This is a big concern late night when you could have ordered from somewhere else before close and wait for 40 minutes just to know your order was cancelled with no proper reason. Contacting your postmate directly rarely works, and also keep note on service fees on top of delivery fees and constant "surge" pricing. There are way better options at there now where you shouldnt be subjective to these prices and complete garbage customer services. Its a rip off.

Ive used postmates several times now, and 9 times out of 10, it takes 30+ minutes just to get the delivery accepted. Its a total waste of time and Im done with this app.

Waited two hours for delivery of food that waited an hour at the restaurant to be picked up. Learned from Postmates customer support that no Postmate was available at the time I placed the order, and none was assigned until the food had been sitting around. Seems to me a delivery app should not accept an order when no delivery agents are available to pick it up.

Cancels orders and overcharges without notice.

Not only is Postmates one of the most expensive delivery service in SF, with many competitors, but worst follow thru ever. 3 bad experiences wipes them off my options list, even WITH credit for future options in my account.

I recently ordered a drink from Starbucks using the postmates app. The drink that I received was incorrect. I received an email back from a Stephanie Ferguson. She told me she compared the receipt to the order and shes sorry they got the order wrong, BUT they would only refund me the .55 difference and there was nothing else they would do. After going back and forth, I told her I dont think I should pay for something I did not order and her response was she sorry Im not satisfied. Postmates lost a potentially consistent customer over a green tea lemonade..

The idea of this company is amazing but their reality is horrible! I use postmarked multiple times ever day. Something goes wrong with an order almost everyday! There is no way of contacting their support system expect for emailing them. They get back to you usually in over 24Hour and they never refund money!!!! Wish there was another platform I could use

I Get My Food, Very Fast I Never Go Out To Buy It Myself.

This company is a scam. They never charge the correct prices, and they dont care if you tell them about their discrepancies. I also just got an email with a $10 off next order code, and decided to give Postmates a try again after not using them for months. My delivery fee was $6 and my code only took off $4. Completely unsatisfied with this companys lack of ethical business conduct. The app design and functionality of it works, hence the one star.

Post mates in long Beach are racist didnt hire me because Im a bald Mexican they racial profiled me because I wasnt white!!!

Downloaded the app because I saw a Instagram add for free Boba. Well the code never worked and I contacted postmats customer service rep thought I didnt know how to place an order so he explained to me in email how to place an order. Use DoorDash instead.

Restrictions on the App are not communicated until after you wait over an hour to be called by customer service and told that your order cannot be completed. If I could rate this app with zero stars I would. Dont waste your time and money with this horrible app.
