Postmates - Food Delivery App Reviews

I need this in Canada. Like ASAP, like YESTERDAY, like from the beginning of my EXISTENCE! Thanks from Canada.

Do not use it, waste of time. 2,5 hrs of delivery from a restaurant which is 5 min of drive. Stupid drivers who do not know the area and do not speak English. Disappointed.

As someone who is currently without a vehicle, Postmates has been a life saver!! Theyll bring me my groceries, maybe a bottle of wine or two on the weekend or after a long day during the week, my morning coffee...theyll even pick up my prescriptions from the pharmacy for me! I absolutely love Postmates and Im so glad they are FINALLY in my city!

Late nearly every time. They cancel orders after 30 minutes. Expensive.

Great service

This app is useless. Since December their have been no drivers to deliver food from any of the locations they list. Secondly customer service is disgusting. They dont reply and when they do the answer is always "well have more drivers out later" LIES!! The drivers are always more than an hour left when you do get one and your food is cold and gross. Dont waste your time with this app. Nothing about it is useful. I wouldnt even give it one star!!!!

Bless this app. Ever since I discovered Postmates, theyve been receiving half my paycheck. In my city, they are very reliable, relatively fast, and willing to endure the downtown parking situation to bring me a warm meal. The one time a Postmate cancelled, the support folks via app refunded my order quickly with no fuss. My heroes.

Its what I expect for not getting out of my house and doing it myself. And Im grateful I only utilize it when I know Im being lazy and cant complain (as opposed to some house-ridden people that probably rely on this for a regular meal). To get more specific, the first chipotle order I made they delivered a large lemonade and half broken burrito. I used to work there so I get that burritos get leaky and tear, but the lemonade was clearly out/they had to change it but no one noticed and I got a lemon-tinted water delivered to me for nearly 4 bucks. Im not sure if thats the chipotle or the delivery guys fault so I didnt complain to either. The second order from an Asian restaurant sent me the wrong type of rice.

Beware this app, company. Expensive, a little bait and switch going on with their premium service and when it comes to customer service, dont hold your breath.

I ordered food from postmates from a restaurant that had a special for that week making the price significantly discounted. Postmates brought me the order with the receipt from the restaurant taped to the box that showed postmates had paid the discounted price. However, despite this postmates still charged me the full price. I contacted them through their support email to get a refund for the extra charge but they refused. Additionally, throughout my email exchange with them, every email I got from them was from a different person making it impossible to have a conversation about the issue. There is no phone number and they have since stopped responding. So basically they tried to hide the discount from me and then made it impossible for me to get the situation fixed...deleting app

Use them all the time. Especially when theres promotions :)

Ive used Postmates over 50 times so I feel pretty confident in my assessment of their service. Their drives are routinely late - Ive had everything from deliveries 1+ hr beyond the original estimated delivery time to missing items. Ive even waited 2 hours from my original order only to have Postmates cancel my order and provide no explanation as to why. Use a competitor.. The service is extremely poor and here are far better options.

I did not receive my order or phone call. I sent a email to support and was told the driver does not wait anymore than 10mins Ive called and texted the driver prior to that and never got a response he was not in front of my house I had my lights on and door open. This is a very unfortunate event. I will never use Postmates again and I do not recommend it . Did I mention I was still charged full price ??

I ordered 2 rib dinners from Boston Market (with very clear instructions) and the delivery person brought back 2 chicken dinners ! Reached out to their tech support, but there was no way to call them as there used to be. I had to email them and didnt hear back until almost a week later. Not only did we have to wait a week for them to respond, we had to order dinner from somewhere else and then argue back and forth before they refunded our money ($30) for the entire order which THEY MESSED UP ! We had to file a claim with our bank to get he money back ! We reported them to the Better Business Bureau !

Great app, many choices of food, it would have been 5 stars but the delivery is a bit pricy

I use postmates at least once a week. Great selection of places nearby, quick delivery and never any problems with the service. App is user friendly, they frequently have deals and discount codes. Definitely my most used delivery app
