This app is horrendous! Super glitchy!
I love the postmates service and also the postmates website, which is how I usually order. But, today I didnt have my computer with me so I had to order via the browser on my phone. The orders went through fine, but tracking wasnt available, so I downloaded the app. When I opened it, I was presented with an order from almost a year ago. It was asking me to rate the driver and leave a tip. I assumed I had forgot (mind you I order from them all the time, and ordered from them yesterday, and there was no mention of this. Also, I always tip and rate the driver. You cant place a new order if you dont at least rate the driver.) But, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So, I just now tipped on an order from early 2016. Then, instead of letting me use the app, it presented me with another order from almost a year ago! Theres no way I didnt tip two drivers, I thought. I have always had the policy of tipping the postmates drivers. This isnt a new thing. I have always tipped. I figured this must be a glitch. So, I wrote them through the app about it and about ten minutes later, I get an email saying my new order has been cancelled! So it seems like someone saw my email about the old order asking what is this order and they went and cancelled my new order. There was no reply. Nothing. Just an order cancellation on something Im now going to have to re-order! So, I have deleted the app!
